  • Temporary session IDs are assigned for functionality (e.g., connecting to chats/games). These expire after 60 days.
  • Device-specific identifiers (e.g., IP addresses) are used only for moderation, legal compliance, and security.

AI Moderation

  • Chat/video content is processed temporarily to detect nudity, illegal activity, or policy violations.

Retention

  • Normal interactions: Deleted after 60 days.
  • Flagged content (e.g., nudity): IP addresses and chat logs stored for 2 years for legal purposes.

Video/Messages

  • Video chats and messages are end-to-end encrypted.
  • Logs are retained for 60 days for moderation. Flagged content follows the 2-year retention.

Third-Party Integrations

Games

  • In-platform games use third-party providers (e.g., Unity). These providers may collect anonymized usage data (e.g., game progress).

Analytics & Ads

  • In-house analytics track usage patterns (e.g., session duration, feature engagement).
  • Behaviorally targeted ads use cookies; consent is obtained via a banner. Users cannot opt out of ads.

Future Payments

  • Premium features (if added) will process payments via PCI-DSS compliant gateways. Card details are not stored on BuzzyTalk servers.

User Rights & Controls

Data Deletion

  • No personal data (e.g., names, emails) is stored.
  • Users may email to request IP/session ID deletion. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Opt-Out Limitations

  • Cookies, location tracking, and AI moderation cannot be disabled (essential for safety/functionality)

Age Restrictions

  • Users must confirm they are 18+ via an age declaration form.
  • The platform is not designed for minors. Accounts suspected of underage use are terminated.

Security & Retention

Encryption

  • All chats/videos use end-to-end encryption.

Data Retention

  • IP addresses: 60 days (or 2 years if flagged).
  • Session IDs: Expire after 60 days.

Advertising & Tracking

  • Behavioral ads use cookies based on in-app activity (e.g., games played).
